Thai CDC spokesman confident draft charter will be ready this week

<p>CDC spokesman <span>Chatchai Na Chiang Mai</span>, said on Sunday that the charter drafters are nearly finished drafting the new Constitution as there remain only a few articles which need to be concluded and added.</p><p>Mr. Chatchai said that, at the upcoming retreat, the CDC has planned its discussions in two parts, with the first part to be dedicated to the reading of every article in order to allow all members to be informed of all details and share any ideas they may have.</p><p>As for the second part of the proposed new Constitution, he said that the charter drafters will work on all new elements which are intended to ensure that Thailand will not experience a repeat of political conflicts while promoting transparency and good governance.</p>
